At Kendal Gymnastics Club our aim is to give as many girls and boys as possible not only quality teaching in gymnastics, but to help them to become well rounded sports people. We provide a wide range of classes and aim to give each individual the opportunity to maximize their potential regardless of level, social or financial background. Although we are a small club with a family atmosphere we aim to compete at the highest level we can, and ensure sportsmanship, discipline and resilience are incorporated into the gymnasts training.

We run a safe, child-friendly gym where all coaches are trained not only technically for the sport, but in Safeguarding & Protecting Children and first aid. Our dedicated coaching team undertake continuous professional development so that the gymnasts are receiving the highest quality coaching in a positive learning environment. All coaches and committee are fully DBS checked, and we have fully trained welfare officers who are vital in maintaining a safe environment.

We are Gym Mark accredited and a registered British Gymnastics club, which means we adopt the health, safety and welfare policies of British Gymnastics. More on these can be found here. We operate openly, and welcome support from parents, and we encourage their involvement in the girls overall training.

Premises Update

We have recently moved to a larger building giving us much needed extra space. However, we still have lots of plans for the gym.

If you would like to donate, sponsor or help in any way, we would love to hear from you.
